Proactively prevent the negative effects of abiotic stresses using the Primactive Effect

Crops have evolved to develop built-in coping mechanisms to help them self-manage the effects of abiotic stress. But with the environmental changes we are seeing, it is critical for agronomists to understand how they can utilise, activate, or reinforce these coping mechanisms during the agronomic cycle. One of the ways to do this is to prepare or “prime” crops to prevent the negative effects of combined abiotic stresses before they occur, using the Primactive Effect approach, which involves using a specific subset of biostimulants that have this mode of action.
